Impossible to find a reservation and a boarding pass on the app. Slow to load. If I could give the app negative 4 stars I would.
I see a lot of people making the same complaints, but this is 100% user error. The reason people are having an issue with this app is because you have a 3rd party VPN installed on your phone and it is activated. Your phone already has a VPN and it is more harmful than good to use another app for VPN protection. Delete your 3rd party VPN’s and use the default one on your phone and this app works flawlessly.
Unusable trash, just like the airline
We have a connection flight that stopped late in Panama because the weather conditions Punto so we lost the connecting flight, The Personal in the airport didn’t help more than 100 people that lost the connection fly to all the countries and we get left behind we not assistant and no help for the persons in the counter in a foreign country for Overnight for more than 17 hours. The customer service never answer back on time and when they answer back, they say that it’s not they fall and not responsibility of the company. Punto is better to travel with a local airline that have responsibility and phase that with a brand like this that have no assist for his customers and don’t care about the passengers.
This app is thoroughly disappointing. While in Florida it let me check in, but I couldn’t get my boarding pass. Then the whole app stopped working. In Panama, the airline’s home country, it wouldn’t work at all. What a waste of programming.
When I selected my seat (23D) through the app, the physical ticket at the Panamanian airport printed 23F. I did not receive a notification if my seat was moved. Also, my digital tickets always show terminal 2 but the physical ticket shows terminal 1 at the Panamanian airport. It happens that my flights take off from terminal 1.
This started months, maybe a year ago: the website and the app are a waste of time. You can’t get reservations done, the option to do flexible date search is no longer available… I am forced to either use a third party or call (with a surcharge) to place a reservation. It does not make sense that something that was working well was “improved” to become worthless

This airlines provides poor customer experience for flight changes. Not sure how Apple approved their app with so many flaws. They charge a penalty for no show. Their monopoly driven attitude will eventually come to surface with law suits.
It's a terrible app (both on mobile and web). Loads on forever when you're trying to get ticket quotes. It's just come to the point I assume all booking must be routed through the call center and avoid quoting through this horrible app.
It doesn’t load ticket prices unless you do it with miles and it lags horribly.
Almost impossible to create a new account, this make think twice in buying an international flight. Sorry guys ! You need to fix this first app and website. I started with the wrong foot , it is time to run away !

Can’t even retrieve my reservation, the most basic thing. I can go to the website and access the information without any problem, but the app simply doesn’t work
It is mpossible to sign in sincenthe last app update. Updates should perform better, not worse

I’ve been trying to add a trip on my app and is not working. It says “No internet connection” when I’m actually connected on both my WiFi and phone data and still not working!
1. Major issue is when the app informs you of the wrong terminal. 1 hour before it still indicates I’m in wrong terminal. 2. Luggage information leaves you wondering whether you should go pick your bag up for connecting flight. Which means you have to go through immigration to get your luggage on my case. It should tell you to pick up or not, and not have to determine if it’s a Interline baggage. But major issue it never updates with basic info like Terminal and gate. This is critical in large airport so you don’t find yourself rushing to get to correct departing gate. Work is needed ! I finally gave up and resorted to old school looking at information boards and asking if board or app had wrong information. Turned out app had incorrect information.
There was a recent system upgrade. Now it is requiring me to reset my password but I did not get an email. The next day I find an email that was sent at 11pm last night but obviously I was asleep and it’s no longer valid. Help!
I received an email to update my password but it is impossible to do so, please correct this problem. I have a trip pending and I need to use the application
I was purchasing a trip via this app when it suddenly stopped working. I had to force quit the app and proceded to trying again. The screen at the end of the transaction kept “loading”. Force quit again and at the third time I open the app the two tickets appeared as purchased. I was charged for the same ticket twice ( including same seats ). I called their customer service center and spoke to Marcos who was very kind and told me since I was calling during the 24 hr window period that there shouldn’t be any problem with the refund and he instructed me to cancel the ticket via their website. I now recieved an email that I wouldn’t get my money back only a refund. This is an outrage and plain fraud. This would’ve never happened if the app was working properly.
Just like the airline this app is garbage. Constantly resets information mid way through trying to fill it out. Cheap airline and even cheaper app.
This app and the related Copa website are software disasters. I have literally wasted hours trying to book and confirm a flight. Most functions simply don’t work and there is apparently no customer support. They need to junk the app and website and start over.
App kept populating with information for other travelers in my group and there was no way to change it. Additionally, with no chat or help function the errors are unfixable. Even when using the edit function and re-entering my own information, the app kept attaching my information to other people’s name and boarding pass.
I wish I could let the whole world know how mean they are to non Spanish or foreign nationals so everybody can stay away from this airline. I wasn’t able to board a flight because I was a day into the 6 month window of my passport expiration which I understood even though wasn’t aware I took that blame. They promised that I can always use my airline credit as any other airline does since I clearly did not miss my flight. After I renewed my passport they constantly kept playing games not allowing me to use my ecredit. Lord knows the back and forth I had with the reps. Finally spoke to a supervisor and he explained that per their policy in order to use my ecredit they have to book it for me at a much higher price different from what I saw online plus a $100 booking fee. I had a $500 credit the flight I was gonna book was $490 online. Since I was using my ecredit they quoted me a different rate which was over $660 plus a booking fee of $100 making $800 with taxes. So I had to pay an extra $300 to my $500 credit. I ended up booking a whole new trip with a different airline.
But this is quite possibly the worst app ever. A major airline can’t even proceed a basic app? I get error messages for nearly everything I do. I can’t check in, can’t update info, can’t review seat selection. Totally useless.
Keep getting error message when entering email where I can be reached. Waste of time. The website is not any better either. Invest in testing before deploying app.
Using therapy for over 4 years and it’s been improved a lot over time. Easy to use and has all functions you might need to use on the go. Lots of accessible information about the travel with Copa Airlines.
How come i can log in the website but not here? Incorrect credentials? Sound more as lack of updates! Get your act together Copa!
El sistema es barato, no sirve, no agarra ninguna tarjeta de crédito para pagar por adelantado. Cuando llamas, te dicen que tienes que llamar a tu tarjeta de crédito y cuando pagas con ellos y te cobran más, por cosa De Dios, la tarjeta funciona. Alguien se esta haciendo rico de todo esto, y no son los trabajadores. The system is cheap, it doesn't work, it doesn't take any credit cards to pay in advance. When you call, they tell you that you have to call your credit card and when you pay with the person on line, using the same credit card, it takes and they charge you more, for goodness’s sake, the card works! Someone is getting rich from all this, and it's not the copa workers.

Every flight I have to call to do anything like change seats, upgrade, or add bags. And now I cannot even check in to my flights through app. Customer service through the phone is only slightly better. I wish more airlines flew to South America so I would never have to fly Copa again
Contrary another reviewer, I can’t log my account in from iPhone. And curiously I found it worked fine from iPad. On my iPhone, the App shows “the information you provided does not match our records”. However, using Safari from iPhone does not complain about info provided. Summarizing, uninstall it and reboot, and install it again did not fix it.
1. You cannot access wifi 2. If you try to buy anything, after the third try it blocks you from further purchasing. You have to call them to makes purchases. 3. Again NO WIFI 4. The app needs a major upgrade 5. Again NO WIFI

Despues de buscar en internet las politicas de la aerolinea y no encontrar ningun detalle entre mi salida Ecuador y mi llegada a Estados Unidos abordé junto a mis hijos menores de edad, pero al llegar a UIO Quito me pidieron poner toda mi informacion al igual que de mis hijos(un proceso de 5 minutos por cada uno. Adicional a eso fui sorteado 2 veces indistintamente en el mismo vuelo para que revisen el equipaje de mis hijos, esto posiblemente por la aduana de Ecuador y esto en forma repetida indica la inexperiencia de aduana en las maquinas de rayos X. Lo que si es curioso es: si tanto revisan como dejan ingresar tanta arma ilegal y droga ilegal al Ecuador?
Better than delta and American Airlines
After trying to change my seats/pick my seats and pay extra money which I do not have a problem with. The app and the website have locked me out and said I’ve used up all the chances I have to change I never know where they gonna put me then. It’s absolutely insane that they cannot take my money to change seats. I get the same message every time credibly frustrating
I love COPA airlines, but during my last two flights with them, I could not access my Copa account using their iOS application. It rejected my username and password, even though I can use the same credentials on their website from my computer to log in successfully.
You cannot sign in on the app. After resetting my password, it just takes you to the website, a crappy mobile version. Furthermore, once there, you’re reservations are unattainable or viewable. The links under the hamburger menu do not work. My cat makes better quality stuff in his litter box.
Previously, in the current reservation, under your name, you could access all your stored data. Passport, TSA Pre/Global Entry, etc. Now it’s gone. So if for instance your passport info is not in your reservation, there is no way you can fix this. Overall, the app is still a great disappointment, lagging far behind other Airline apps in almost every way.
Unable to sign in, receive a red error message
What a piece of garbage. Trying to book a trip on this app is like trying to talk to the dead. For a so call “premier” Latin American airline this is an embarrassment, expend the money and get good programmers or cancel the app altogether. One star because “0” stars isn’t an option.

Another in a long line of fails for COPA airlines. Worst customer service, website rarely works too. I would not fly on anything they have. If they can’t make a booking or an app work, how well do they maintain their planes?
Downloaded because checking in online stays on a loading page. Same thing happening with the app, does not load after I choose seats. Has potential but is not a hassle free tool to use for flight management.
